Bond Vet - Back Bay

Hello all, Today (4-1-24) I brought my cat Trax to Bond Vet (Back Bay), and once again Dr. Alander worked her magic and brought MUCH relief to Trax (and ME!!!), who was in respiratory distress due to congestive heart failure (CHF)... I CANNOT say enough good things bout both Dr. Alander (very skilled, kind and compassionate) and the entire wonderful Bond Vet staff, Jade, Jamie, Deanna and ALL else! I am VERY happy I found Bond Vet (Back Bay) both for my furry family members, and also for ME! ... I normally do not write reviews (no particular reason), but I feel compelled in this instance due to the incredible care and kindness we receive at Bond Vet... you WILL NOT be disappointed to make Bond Vet (Back Bay) your trusted care provider for your beloved furry family members! My cats and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Bond Vet Back Bay with Dr. Camille Alander. I have two cats who I was particularly worried about: a 6-yo cat who gets very nervous away from home, and a 1-yo who takes a lot of time warming up to new people. I've also had poor experiences with previous vets who, while polite, performed what could be considered (at best) cursory exams, spoke condescendingly when I voiced prior opinions from other vets, were rude, short, and unwilling to take the time to listen to me or make my girls comfortable. This experience was SO different and one of the best I've had. Scheduling is online and simple, and you can upload prior records and complete intake forms before your appointment, making the actual day of the appointment a breeze. They have a friendly office kitten - a handsome tuxie named Bean (!!) - whom I met while he was sunning himself in the waiting area with one of the associates and Dr. Alander (I didn't realize it was her at the time)! Once inside the exam room, I've never seen my girls more comfortable with any vet. There were no freakouts, no hissy-fits, no claws, not a single meow. Dr. Alander took her time to pick them up from their carriers, spoke to them softly, and let them hide in her arms when they needed a break during the exam. They were hugging her at one point; their visit summaries say "sniffing" and "purring" under "Respiratory Rate." The entire staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. I couldn't have asked for more.

Compassionate and knowledgeable vet, Dr. Alander-Rivera, helped me get to the bottom of my senior dog's symptoms and find a solution to get her comfortable as she reaches the end of her life. It's emotionally taxing to see my companion's quality of life diminish, so I'm really grateful for the support and kindness we received at Bond vet. I can't recommend them enough.
