Had a great experience with Mark. Needed my windshield replaced. Was quick, clean and communicative. I would use Safelite in King street again in the future.

If I could give a Zero I would. The appointment process was tedious and unpersonal. Finally got through that and received an appointment. Received text confirmation of appointment. Showed up with no back window in 20 degree weather and was told by local installation facility they had no record of the appointment but they had the information on the windshield but no appointment. The availability for the next appointment was in a week. Will never use Safelite again.

The Worst. Scheduled an appointment Monday to have my windshield replaced on Tuesday at the shop. Told the phone rep I had a tall van. Drove down in the snow to find out my van was too tall to fit in the garage and they couldn't do the windshield outside because of the snow. Okay, simple mistake. They offered to come to my house to replace it that Thursday. Some good. I got a call Thursday morning asking if I had an appointment and what happened. Apparently my windshield was sent back for some reason. They would have to come out Friday. Pretty annoying. I called Friday morning to verify when they were coming since the window they gave me was all day. I was told I was 8th, which was pretty annoying since it was the third time they were supposed to replace it. Nobody showed up or contacted me at all on Friday. I called Saturday morning to find out what happened. They said my windshield arrived damaged and they would have to reschedule. Worst company ever. Just use someone else. The communication between the call center and shop is ridiculous, customer service is horrible, the call center operator gave me attitude on several calls. Again... the worst!

In mid-October I had a repair tech. attempt to fix a bulls eye crack in my windshield, even though I thought the damage required a new windshield. The tech. actually made it much worse, and instead of scheduling my needed replacement he told me the customer service representative would contact me to schedule it. I never heard from the customer service advocate Jesse at Safelight, so I scheduled the replacement install in late November. The replacement tech. broke a windshield wiper cover and installed a scratched replacement windshield (scratched in front of the driver field of vision and definitely a safety concern). I am grateful that the tech told me about the broken wiper blade cover, but his attempt to fix it looks terrible. He also left the dash full of debris, which seems to be common in these reviews. I called Jesse, the customer advocate multiple times and left two voicemails to try to rectify the problems, and I have not heard back. My vehicle is in worse shape than before SafeLight was involved, and they will not return my multiple voicemails. I wish I had not used the insurance recommended SafeLight and instead scheduled this windshield repair on my own. That hassle would have been much less than the hassle SafeLight is continuing to cause me, three months later. EDIT: I filled out the form as the response suggested, and received a call from a new Safelight employee. I was told that I will need to file a new insurance claim because I did not complain about the scratched and poor fitting windshield within 30 days. This is both false and unacceptable. Save yourself time and money by not using this service.
