They are very nice with customers when the customer switch from another insurance company or needs a quote. Once you get the insurance through them, then after six months, you will see an increase in your premium. I want to share my experience. I have been using Allstate for the last 4+ years and have never had a problem with it. But this year, I moved from another state to Michigan, and I had to find a local agent. I got Allstate insurance from this agency (Duncan Ins Agency); after five months, I noticed my premium was going ridiculous high for the renewal. So, I decided to get a quote from other companies. It was hard to believe that I saved more than 50% from another insurance company with an exact policy. Also, the new insurance company told me that there was only a 4% increment in the insurance industry. My wife called this agency (Duncan Ins Agency) to terminate the insurance with an effective date of 9-3-2021, they said ok without asking any reason. We started a policy with State Farm on the same date. After a couple of days, I noticed that they did not terminate my insurance, then I figured out they put the termination date 9-10-21 instead of 9-3-21. I thought maybe there was a misunderstanding. Then I contacted Allstate (after 45 minutes of call waiting), they said I should call my agent because he chose the termination date and they can revise it. I called the agency, and a lady started to convince me that there is no difference between 9-3-21 and 9-10-21 because I'll not get any refund. Also, she said that system automatically deiced the termination date. I kept asking her questions, but she did not have a good reason. Then she put me on hold, and she said his boss (Owner) get back to me, but he never called me back. I called my previous Allstate agent, and he confirmed that anyone could terminate at any date, and there is no rule that I have to keep paying for both insurances. The whole point of writing this review is that this agency is not reliable and honest. I know they do not make enough money in the first six months, but they will start to increase your premium after six months. Now, I'm paying for insurance for both companies until they terminate. Very disappointed. I'll never recommend it to anyone.
