        Warning they pulled a big bait a switch once we paid the down payment. Tim gave us a bid for 7500 when I call about it they said it didn't include tax. ( I thought MN was non tax on service) so it went up 500. Then the day after the deposit was paid the added another 3000 to the bid. The was one huge bait and switch. It started at 7500 then 8000 then went to 11000. The higher cost was due to needing a crane now. I asked Tim Multiple time about needing a crane and was told no just a spider lift. I asked for a full refund and cant believe what just happened. I now wonder how many others they have scammed.

        Chris came out and analyzed our large cotton tree. Professional arborist. Gave a detailed report on findings and the things to know with that type of tree and potential red flags to watch out for over time. Thankfully the tree was still healthy! Definitely cared about the safety of the property. Very friendly and fast service. Would recommend!

        Be warned, if you purchase one of their tree treatments they automatically sign you up for yearly treatments. In 2022 I did a kelp treatment for 2 white oaks in my front yard, nobody told me I was being signed up for yearly treatment so in 2023 they just came and did the treatment again and sent me a bill. No phone call, text, or email to let me know they were coming. Also, the rate went up $100 dollars and they didnt even have the courtesy to contact me and notify me of the rate increase. There is a line in the estimate that says you are being signed up for annual service which I missed, but something as important as this should really be discussed and they should make contact with you before just doing the service again. Literally every other company I work with that has quarterly or annual service has the courtesy to contact me ahead of time. Save yourself some trouble and choose one of the other companies for your tree services.

      SavATree was founded by Ralph Robbins in 1978 with a single objective in mind; to save trees from the devastating effects of repeated defoliations by the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar (Lymantria dispar). While this moth was accidentally introduced into the United States by French entomologist Leopold Trouvelot in 1868, it was not until the late 1970's that the population exploded in the Northeast. Ralph, a graduate of Paul Smith's college and entrepreneur at heart, saw an opportunity to make a difference in support of tree preservation and care.

We acknowledge the oversight in not clearly specifying that the initial quote did not include tax. As soon as we recognized the error, we began reassessing the pricing to ensure fairness, but regrettably, there was a miscommunication, and you made the down payment while we were in the process of reevaluation.
