I have never had much fear of a new experience but I have put off getting my wisdom teeth extracted for a long time. At 29 years old, I was treated so well. With every fear I brought up, I was instantly consoled and corrected on many things I thought/Googled incorrectly! Sand was my initial nurse and she reassured me that a few of my fears were never going to happen. I was unaware that my anesthesia would be in IV form and she told me how it would work and assured me that I would have a positive experience. Both Sand and Dr. Bednar were diligent on explaining some after care and were so confident with their answers that my anxiety lessened each answer I received. I was so happy with my care and I am now 3 days post surgery and my extractions all look closed and are healing. When I have/had discomfort, I used ice packs for about 20 min and switched sides and this alleviated 95% of my discomfort. Pairing IB profen and my prescription has kept my discomfort very low. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Bastodkar did an excellent job with my tooth extraction. He described what I should feel and hear during the procedure. He checked several times to make sure I was ok. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend the AOMS Team in Maple Grove!
