One of them being she filed me as Single instead of Head of Household; which could have cost me to miss out on $1,000.
I looked over my refund, and that's when I noticed the two mistakes. I went up there to point out the errors that were made. The staff simply replied "we're human, we all make mistakes." But no apology. They had to amend my taxes and submit it back to the IRS. Once everything was corrected, I was owed an additional $749 federal and $191 by the state.
I go to H&R Block every year to get my taxes done, and I have never had an issue like this. It really rubbed me the wrong way, and kinda made me lose confidence in H&R Block tax specialists. I will not be returning next year. If you go to this location, please look over your return.
