        Lots of space and light! Plenty of seating areas of all kinds. The cafe, Post coffee, was really good and a welcome addition to the library. Molly, my service dog was welcomed warmly and no one touched her unless they asked and received my permission. It was a really great experience for us. I love MCPL!!

        We visited here for the first time today, and had the same great experience as we've enjoyed at other branches. My kid was especially excited for the Pride display, and I was happy to find books for all ages there.

      The branch offers customers a wide array of free resources and services—from books, movies, and music, available in both physical and streaming formats, to technology services, including in-branch public computers and Wi-Fi as well as Chromebooks and internet hotspots available for checkout. MCPL also offers free access to many online research and learning resources, online classes and tutoring services, and digital versions of popular publications such as The Kansas City Star and other daily newspapers. Customers may browse for materials, reserve meeting rooms, and attend in-person programs for all ages.
