Celebrated Mass in the historic Parish where Fr. Augustus Tolton was born into slavery and lived until the family escaped to free Illinois.

Beautiful and very amazing historic church, while it is no longer a parish church and isnt open for prayer. It is still amazing, especially due to the fact that Fr. Augustus Tolton grew up going to mass here!

It was a new experience, very educational. Never have I seen a slave graveyard. I will go back again.
