        I've been to nicer econolodge. The service was very nice, reservations went well, location is great but stayed in nicer econo lodges....

        Because the staff were so kind, I hate to leave a bad review, but the hotel is in a state of serious disrepair. While the room had evidently been cleaned, there were stains on lots of surfaces, the curtain rod was broken, and the bathroom was in need of major work. The exterior and common spaces are poorly maintained, with age and damage visible everywhere. The whole place smells of tobacco smoke. We apologize for the maintenance issues, will address with the staff as we are getting a lot of turnover in this department. In regard to bathroom outdated, due to economy there was a financial burden so we had to defer some of our improvements. Hoping the economy will recover over the next year so we are in better financial position to make improvements.
