I just found my new Dentist!! I cannot express how grateful I am to this team. They were so warm and welcoming to me (a new/emergency patient) I was very scared having to see someone new, and now, theyll never get rid of me. So professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Im so so very pleased I found them. Thank you!

I was not satisfied with my experiences at this place, for a number of reasons. The billing practices are one reason, but also in how the place is organized and/or run. This place lost my appointment I had made 6 months out for a cleaning and a new crown. Then the new appointment I made was canceled due to their one hygienist's absences from work. This impacted me greatly, because I live overseas and my time in the States is limited to 2-3 weeks a year. When I got there, it took nearly 2hrs for a basic crown fitting. This was largely due to a young gentleman (intern I'm guessing?) took most of that time learning how to get X-rays of my teeth with an image wand. No one was there with him to supervise or take over when he couldn't figure it out. The numbing shots had began to wear off by the time the crown work was done by the dentist. I'm all for teaching and learning, but I feel like the patient should have a choice about it. They had told me it would take less than an hour when I made the appointment, so that's what I had factored in. Meanwhile, I had someone waiting for me out in the car and he had to cancel his next appointment because of the extended time it took getting X-rays. On a positive note, the people there were nice and friendly. The office is clean and quiet. Each time I was there, the office had no other patients and there were no waits to get in.

Asked two times if they were in network with my insurance and was told yes both times. Was lied to both times. They were out of network and I will end up paying $300+ more due to their lies. Update Sterling informed me to fix the cavities I have will run me $1767 before insurance. So I asked Comfort Dental in Kalispell for a second option. I contacted Sterling 3 times to send records and they were having issues and never attached them to the email to Comfort dental. Comfort dental inform me even with out insurance they would charge me under $250 and about $100 with insurance. They also did X-rays for free because they were tired of waiting on sterling. So I walked out of Comfort dental owing $53.20 had no problems with insurance, no discomfort, and all the issues fixed other then owing sterling dental around $300 for a cleaning.

Larry we tried to reach out to you because the figures and information you have posted here are not even close to being correct. I'm not sure how you arrived at a cost of $759.00 for an exam and xrays but that is completely incorrect. We are striving to help patients get the dental care they need as they navigate this inflationary and difficult US economy. Please don't make it more difficult on my staff by posting incorrect information that misrepresents. They are more than happy to help you if you truly have a concern you'd like our help resolving. They are all kind people and serve our Libby community well.

Sterling Dental is a veteran owned business that has given given away lots of free and discounted dental care to veterans and others over the years. The veteran here alone received over $2000 in free dental care and he never paid a dime out of his own pocket. One might have thought that there would be a token amount of gratitude toward a fellow veteran & brother that extended a hand. I notice that there were no complaints about the quality of the care he received and he completely ignored the fact that he paid nothing for his care. Daniel please don't confuse your frustration with the VA as part of this practice. I don't make their policy decisions and I'd appreciate an honest review from a fellow veteran. - R. Sterling Dental promptly addressed Ms. Hill’s assertions regarding her experience at Sterling Dental. Sterling Dental provided Ms. Hill documentation establishing that her assertions were false. Sterling Dental then requested Ms. Hill withdraw her assertions, issue a written retraction and apologize for the online post she made. Ms. Hill agreed to this resolution.

Doug:It is written, "But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."There is a lot of false information that you have posted here. Some people may detect your comments as slander because it certainly does not represent the truth about this practice, me or our dental team. We consider Libby our town and we strive to treat patients like family. We love this place and strive to do our best.
