Beware! I use reviews to pick where and who I will use. It's important to me that I get the best service for my money. I picked Joes Plumbing in March of 2021 to replace an old leaking water heater , because they had excellent testimonial's. Joe was very nice and seemed to be an upfront kind of guy. He explained the process and although the price was high ( we are a retired couple on a fixed income ) we assumed we were going to get quality, professional work for our money. By law, being on propane, an inspection needs to be done on any new appliance installed in the home. We unfortunately waited till Nov. of 2021, when all the construction we were having done was complete, before having furnace, water heater and new stove inspected, to save on the inspection service call fee. Upon inspection of the water heater, it was found that the outlet pipe that extends from the top of the water heater, through the roof, was not properly connected to the top of the water heater. This was then covered up using heating duct type tape ( not rated for high heat), to give the appearance (to the layperson) of a completed job. Removing the tape, by the inspector, exposed the incomplete connection. We never would have known, had we not had inspection. We assumed we were be taken care of by Joe's Plumbing, and receiving quality work. Despicable! Not only were we taken advantage of, but the incorrect tape was melted and could have caught fire, also our heath was at risk, as carbon dioxide was leaking back into the house from the incomplete connection. My only goal here is to prevent another unsuspecting, trusting individual from the same fate or possibility worse. Update: I did receive a call from Joe. He was very apologetic that he did not inspect the work after it was completed by his employee. He said that particular employee didn't work for him any longer and that he would be happy to come out and repair the shawty work. The inspector had already repaired the connection, so we didn't need him to come back.

New to the area and always have rented, this is my first home. I heard a leak in the kitchen when I did the dishes. Good excuse to stop doing dishes, right?I called Joe from all the good reviews online. He and his partner came out and listened for the leak. It didn't happen until I ran the hot water. It was not aleak, just something that happens when you run thehot water. Joe explained this to me and said there was NO CHARGE. Joe is HONEST. I will refer him to everyone I meet.

I recently purchased a house and found it had some minor plumbing issues, a loose faucet in the bathroom. I called Joe's Plumbing on a Saturday, and while he was under a house at the time, he said he would call me back Monday and have time to come to my house on Wednesday. That is exactly what happened. Two guys came, and both wore masks the entire time they were in my home without me having to ask and I really appreciated that. They informed me of all the issues with the spout, and what things were not issues, went to the extra trouble to cap the shower head and spout to make sure there wasn't a leak behind the wall, and answered all my questions, as well as gave me a quick quote for putting in a new garbage disposal. They were very nice, professional, reasonably priced and I will be calling them for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.
