Ways Motel

Since we we're there for a couple nights we took the room with no balcony. Room was very clean and comfortable. Owner was very accomodating, let us park the car early before check-in. Text messages we're answered fast.

A few minutes stroll and we were at the beach (a quieter, less populated beach too)! We could not have picked a better location to stay in Hampton. We had never been before, so we didn't realize many of the hotels and vacation rentals are on "the strip" - which is crowded, loud, and smelly - not somewhere I'd want to stay. But Ways was perfect for us! Parking was a breeze, we could walk to anything we wanted nearby, and some great restaurants were just a short drive away on Lafayette as well. The only thing we noticed is that the AC unit is LOUD, I mean the loudest I've ever heard. So we ran just the fan which sufficed, but it did get a bit humid in there without AC. The owners have done a great job renovating the place overall - I have no doubt they'll continue to take good care of the property, and expect their clients to do the same. They were so kind, and it was really the perfect place for a little beach trip! Just as described!

I have stayed here many times before the new owners and always liked the location and pool. The rooms used to be very worn. The new owners have done a wonderful job upgrading the rooms and beds. I was very impressed with how much they have done. I would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at The Ways. Much improved since our last stay a couple years ago. The room was updated, comfortable, and clean. Staff were very nice and location was great. Close access to the beach and a convenient walk to nightlife. We would stay here again for sure :)
