Incoming students will for sure experience a progressive environment both in the classroom and on campus. Tilton lives up to their credo of the "Power of Potential" on the condition that the members of the community give back. Those who invest their energies into the system will succeed beyond graduation. By contrast, those who passively run through the motions may struggle. Within arm's reach Tilton offered me mentors, exceptional cultural outings, and above all critical thinking opportunities during those three years at this school. Had I spurned those gifts, I speculate that my career would have been a disappointment.

The best school I ever attended. I now have the great pleasure of working here. The faculty are amazing people, and the school does everything they can to provide a safe and enriched learning environment.

My daughter had an injury that occurs her freshman year essentially ending her basketball career. So as a senior now it is time to reconstruct the ligaments that were damaged. Due to not playing basketball anymore, as a junior we decided to switch her status from boarding to day student. Our tuition did not change which was unfortunate but accepted. With recovery taking 6 weeks in a cast and hence not being able to drive and my schedule not allowing me to transport her back and forth (leave for work at 5 am and call 3 nights a week) we asked the school to accommodate her staying on campus for that time. Since I was still paying boarding price I really did not think it would warrant the response I received. Many options were given but the one that was foremost in my brain was that we pay an additional $2000 to cover her boarding costs. Day students are allowed to eat all three meals there and to shower etc. so what exactly would this extra $2000 cover I cannot wrap my brain around.
