Residence Inn by Marriott Princeton at Carnegie Center

I stayed at this location on Easter weekend with my family. We loved how clean and fresh the room was and we found nothing unsatisfactory. We are extremely picky with cleanliness! Our one year old ran out of milk late at night thanks to lack of parental oversight. Kim, at the front desk, went above and beyond to provide milk for us and make us feel cared about and comfortable. The fresh coffee also helped as it was amazing!

Cramped rooms and smelly carpets, this place reeks of corporate greed. It is mainly inhabited by 20 something corporate clones. Its really not a family place at all, quite hostile to a family of four in desperate need of shelter on Easter weekend because our home was flooded. Zero Christian spirit or compassion. You would do better at the Hyatt next door, Holiday Inn, or really any other hotel in Princeton or you could go to a Church and get shelter for your family. We had a reservation in my wifes name but when I tried to check in they refused me even though we had an insurance claim that was underwriting it. We had even stated there several nights previously with no incident which we paid out of pocket. Then they said we had to move out because of corporate bookings. Then they said oh the corporate bookings were cancelled but we had already booked elsewhere. We tried to book again after three nights in a different hotel and we were ensued that we could stay over Easter weekend which was a huge relief. Then when I tried to check in on Thursday before Easter they cancelled my reservation because it was in my wifes name even though I put them in contact with my instance broker twice and offered them my personal ID AND credit card. Needless to say I was rather upset by this flagrant example of corporate idiocy on the part of the staff. Then they cancelled my reservation outright and refused to negotiate a compromise with my insurance broker. Please believe me when I say this is the absolute worst customer experience I have ever experienced in a hotel l environment. I have stayed in hotels on 5 continents a more than 20 countries. The management of this place is the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. Absolutely no humanity or compassion for a family of four out on the street through no fault of their own. They cancelled our reservation for 10 days and sent us walking the streets. Management is mixed watch for the blond Bob see you next Tuesday shes troubles for sure probably not if you are smart.
