BENSONHURST/ BROOKLYN residents - DO NOT GO THERE. Especially if you have Fidelis. I was so happy that Ive found a place open on Sunday and I scheduled an appointment. All I heard from the doctor Alyssa Raskind was Acne happens . I told them 5 times I had FIDELIS insurance and they said they gonna send a medication to my pharmacy that will be covered. I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said Both medications NOT covered. I called the office at about 5pm- closed. Btw google shows they are supposed to be open until 7pm. Waisted a half a day just to hear Acne happens. Should I call my insurance to file a claim for not being treated properly ? Update I saw my medication being sold online at affordable price but PRESCRIPTION NEEDED. I called the office the next day on Monday in order to get my prescription- 40 minutes on hold - no success . All of them are useless: the doctor, nurses, phone operators. Avoid at all cost

Made an appointment at the place and have Aetna administrated by webtpa. Because its administrated by a third party (still falls under Aetna coverage) they denied me seeing the doctor and told me I would have to pay for my visit up front out of pocket before seeing the doctor. Teach your staff how to properly check insurance.

Everything went perfectly, appointment was on time, no waiting, everyone treated me very well. Office was clean and comfortable.

Zero for waste of time, tell your patients upfront of any insurance requirements. Never ever ever needed a referral with my plan now all of a sudden need a referral. Instead of asking the doctor im willing to pay with my card , was told come back another time.
