voco James Newbury Hudson Valley, an IHG Hotel

This place is absolutely beautiful! Drop dead gorgeous! Definitely the best new hotel in the Catskills, for sure! (Especially considering most other hotels in the area look horrendous! ) Situated at the base of the Hudson River, not only do you get a beautiful view of the river, but there is also plenty of walkways, fields, sitting areas, and even a whole building solely for events! Which yes, it can be rented out! In the inside, it's very modern, the rooms look amazing, there are multiple bars/eating areas, and the entire area has a complete laid back atmosphere about it! Unfortunately I wasn't able to rent out a room here, I came here for official business. But I was already impressed, even only in my short time here! I would definitely say this place is worth the price to stay at, even if you only visit them for one time! Trust me, if you go here, you won't regret it! The Staff were also great to interact with, as well! Very friendly people! Oh yes, and there is also plenty of parking spaces as well! I hope I get the opportunity to come here again sometime soon! I absolutely recommend this place! 10/10!

Big room, very big bathroom /shower stall, high ceiling , lots of light, whole building very clean and comfy morning breakfast 1st class . Worth the the $$$. Rooms: very roomy and bright well kept temperature very relaxing.

I loved everything about this hotel. From the guest services, to the beautiful open space room, to the glorious views and the scrumptious restaurants. I came to visit for Mothers Day weekend. And I came for a relaxing getaway. Well, I got just that. This place is very convenient and a breath of fresh air. Josh the front desk attendant was helpful before I even arrived and was a big part of this review. I definitely will be coming back again. Please make sure to have breakfast which was very decent. Try out the restaurants on site as they both got 5stars from me and the radiance spa just tops it. I couldnt have asked for a better relaxing, peaceful Mothers Day

The location is beautiful is a cute little town. You can tell the hotel is very new and they put it up as quickly as possible. The walls are paper thin you can hear the room next to you way to easily. If you want a restful nights sleep I would not recommend.

Really nice modern hotel along the Hudson River. The rooms were open and spacious and the recently constructed rooms offer an upscale feel Walkability: Hotel is located along historic Reed Street which provides walkability through town and also the adjacent park next to it
