Royal Gardens Apartments at Kingston

Love all the outdoor space and all the amenities. Property seems very well maintained. The apartment I went to see however is just ok. Decent size for what it is, no issues there, but you can tell it's not exactly of high quality... It's not one they would advertise, I'll just put it that way, and even though I didn't expect to get a higher-end one, I feel they could have at least cleaned the place better and maybe fix a few things here and there like the patio screen door, the window shades and replacing all the old and worn doorknobs, just to name a few. I'm sure once I move in and can stylize and clean the place myself it'll be...somewhat better. Disappointed for sure, but it'll have to do for now until I can afford something better. I also don't care for the way the stairs are and the large gapping spaces in-between the steps, forcing one to be overly cautious. There's also a door leading to the back that REALLY should open inwards rather than outwards for SAFETY reasons. There is barely any space between the back door when it's open and the other flights of steps below, making it awkward to maneuver around that area. I don't know what in the world they were thinking, but I hope they decide to fix it. Several people have mentioned the same thing about that particular door, so I know it's not just me.

Nice apartment did see something that needed attention but not my apartment, but very nice, was wondering about extra storage not much closet space

A year in as a resident at Royal Gardens Apartments and I have no complaints whatsoever. I love living here (still in love with my apartment ). I moved in alone and now have a baby sharing this space with too, so yes, this place holds and will hold much memories. I also feel very safe, and my neighbors are ok. The pool in summertime is cool too Our property manager, Rachael does a fine job at being present, attentive, and responds to concerns quickly. Our maintenance guys Eric & Art, I especially like seeing them riding around on their golf carts each day, just yknow, doing their thing. Theyre absolute gentlemen. The team of them do a good job of keeping the grounds clean, and keeping everything in check. Its the little things, the little kind acts and just having this quiet community that I enjoy.
