Terrible Dentist I went in for a sensitive tooth. Initially, he diagnosed the tooth needing a root canal, but then proceeded to change the fillings of two adjacent asymptomatic teeth. One of them became painful after the filling change. When I mentioned the new pain, he dismissed it as a reflexive pain from the originally sensitive tooth. Additionally, after the filling change, I experienced cheek biting, to which he attributed it to lingering numbness (two months post-procedure). Later, he performed a root canal on the sensitive tooth, but when my insurance coverage reached its limit, he insisted I pay for a crown to prevent tooth fracture. Subsequently, I developed sensitivity to hot beverages in the same tooth that underwent the root canal. Seeking a second opinion, I consulted an endodontist who discovered that the post that was used for my tooth is larger than it should be, risking fracture, and the root canal procedure was inadequately performed, leading to infection at the base of the tooth. It's worth saying that I also had to undergo a root canal for the tooth that became painful after the filling change. Since then, I've stopped biting my cheek. While I typically don't leave reviews, I chose this dentist based on glowing 5-star reviews. I hope sharing my experience prevents others from being misled by reviews.

Dr Perler is not only an amazing dentist/artist, he is a wonderful person and it shows the minute you walk in the door by the smiles from his staff. They too are amazing, welcoming, kind and supportive. Im so glad he was recommended to me and have only had great experiences
