Tacombi

We came from Ontario for Tacombi! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff absolutely amazing! Not once did we feel ignored or forgotten. The food is top notch and worth the trip alone! I would recommend Tacombi to anyone who is looking for some excellent Mexican food and great service!

We came here at night so the lights were lowered down and they had candles lit on the tables. We were quickly seated, wasn't too crowded and the food was delicious. The staff is attentive and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable but my only complaints were the music (I felt like someone just had the radio on, I was expecting maybe some actual Mexican music but it didn't ruin my experience) and the lack of alcoholic drinks (beer). Otherwise, I highly recommend this place and would come back again!

I take back anything negative I said about tacombi! I know in the past I've been critical of the pricing and authenticity of the food itself, but this time around my experience was different. Perhaps bc I'm not a struggling student anymorel, I was at peace with the pricing. The portions are small but tasty. I ordered the birria tacos, in comes with 2 for $13. Yes, still pricey in comparison to other places but here at tacombi the experience makes up for it. Sometimes I want to sit down and enjoy a taco & not schlep it down while standing up awkwardly trying not to make a mess in front of strangers. Tacombi offers a light fare of watered down taco classics. I'm used to the greasy cheesy tex mex variety but this place offers a healthier approach. I absolutely love the tortillas that they make in house & for this reason alone, the tacos are good! They also offer alcoholic drinks by the pitcher but for those of us that don't partake, the Aguas frescas are just as good. I do wish they considered complimentary chips and salsa, aqua de Tamarindo, and a tex mex nacho.
