I saw other reviews rating HVCU in Poughkeepsie as only one (1) star which really surprises me. I have gone to the HVCU's branches located in Poughkeepsie (Rt.9), Wappingers Falls, the City of Poughkeepsie (by 44 Plaza), the Ulster County (Rt. 9W) and Hyde Park branches and I have always had positive experiences. I go to the indoor and outdoor ATM's as well as inside the credit unions. The employees have always been courteous and helpful at all these places. I can only tell you my personal experiences and opinions. I guess others would disagree. I have banked at HVCU over 20 years and I still think it is good.

THE WORST CREDIT UNION EVER. THEY HAVE KIDS RUNNING AND PLAYING GAMES. I'LL BE TAKING MY MONEY OUT FROM HERE

Totally unhelpful staff. I have banked with Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union for over 20 years and was extremely happy with the staff and tellers. Since the "Federal" was dropped from the Credit Union I have found the staff to be rude, antagonistic, and it's almost like you are interrupting them. I will certainly be taking my business and money elsewhere! Absolutely awful bank staff, and service now!

Horrible. If you want to process a mortgage expect to hold off on your initial closing date for 3 additional months because the brokers dont respond to phone calls or emails. They will tell you theyre in training and not get anything done. You will be asked to send the same paperwork over 10x because they cant keep track of it. Horrible horrible experience. The lawyer didnt have my closing information until 40 mins before the closing which was rescheduled 4 separate times
