Sanford Highway 2 Clinic

I was just treated today at this clinic. From the two ladies at the front to the three ladies in the back who all came into the exam room, thank you all so much. I was feeling absolutely horrible and all 5 of these women made the entire experience pleasant. I'm not from here and wasn't sure what to expect. They all exceeded my expectations. I felt I was in great hands being 30 hours away from my doctor. Your kindness was greatly appreciated.

The doctor here contributed to saving my life. Unlike other walk-in clinics in Minot, this Sanford clinic is open until 9PM, so when I became concerned about dehydration and pain after 6PM from what I believed to be food poisoning I came here. I may not have gone to the ER had walk-in clinics been closed. There were a lot of patients waiting in the lobby, which was clean, comfortable, and had power outlets available for me to charge my phone. No complaints about wait time as they had a number of people who wanted to be seen and it took a reasonable amount of time to go in - about an hour. Once I went in, I reported my complaints and suspicions about food poisoning. However, the doctor on staff (whose name unfortunately I can't recall, but was on staff Monday the 26th) suspected appendicitis due to localized pain and recommended I go to an emergency room for a CT scan. I had no idea that my symptoms could be appendicitis nor did I understand how dangerous it could be if not treated. Being shortsighted, foolish, and worried about money, I complained that a CT scan would be expensive and asked the doctor if they were sure it couldn't be food poisoning and if I could just wait and see if it went away. They explained to me the risks of appendicitis and urged me to go to the ER. On their advice, I went to Trinity, where appendicitis was confirmed and I had emergency surgery the next morning. I'm glad I went to the Sanford walk-in clinic where this doctor had the expertise and urgency to direct me to get the life saving care I needed.

July 10 2020 Showed up around 10:50 am, waited almost 10 minutes before the receptionist came back from outside (Breann L). I called during this time, but no answer. Im not certain what she was doing outside but your staff should make sure someone is available to take patients.

I was seen by Jill R. GOVEN for my eye...second time here and it went well. There were several people waiting but I was called in within half an hour. The receptionist Tia was very friendly and didn't make me feel as though I was in her way. I had to call back later about my prescription and she was very helpful and friendly then too. No switch in personalities. The doctor came in with a student and I think she will do well in her career. They didn't make me feel rushed; they took time and asked all of the appropriate questions and listened to what I had to say...very important to me. The doctor also explained things well. We can learn so much from them. I was leary of who would be the physician since the doctor I saw last time wasn't available... and I'd read a few crazy reviews...BUT... I'm satisfied and I would refer this clinic to others. I appreciate the service I've received.
