Ponderosa Village Apartments

I will say this is an ok apartment for first time renters. The rent is pretty affordable but with cheap rent comes a ton of other issues. Major Cons: 1. Rodent issues. Ive had cockroaches and mice in my apartment!!! Disgusting. Their old pest control company sucked and barely did anything to actually treat the issues. They did get a new pest control company that has been a bit better. 2. Electricity bills. I was paying $200-300+ a month on ELECTRICITY/water bill as a single person. They use NEP, which charges outrageous prices. 3. Lots of maintenance needed. There was constantly always stuff not working in my apartment or breaking off, it was honestly very aggravating. 4. Things often dont get addressed in a timely manner. 5. DOG POOP EVERYWHERE! I will say SOME people are not the best at picking up after their dog. There was always dog poop in the dog park or on random spots in the grass. Pros: 1. The apartment complex is very dog friendly. Lots of space to walk your dog and they even have a little dog park. 2. Apartments are a pretty good size , living room and kitchen area is pretty nice. 3. As I said before the rent is cheaper than most places around. 3. Derek the maintenance guy is super nice! 4. Pretty quiet for the most part, never saw any criminal activities. Most people just mind their business.

The Ponderosa Village is the best property in Columbus! The apartments are well managed and cared for. The staff is especially caring and attentive to the residents. The property manger is not only wonderful, but extremely knowledgeable. 10/10

Walked in at to see if they have any two bedrooms for this month, there were not any but Deanna was so nice and the community seemed so well maintained

Car was towed in an unmarked spot with less than 24 hours of notice. Property manager was less than sympathetic. Have had a pending maintenance ticket for over half a year at this point and they've stopped responding.

I lived there for more than 10years and that's the best place to be at with your family. It's really a place to call home. I'll give the management five star rating
