I attended a Christmas Eve candlelight service last night [12-23-2018] at All Nations Christian Fellowship. I had had to leave the worship room several times during that service because the music had been too loud. It had been interesting, however, to hear several familiar Christmas hymns played [extremely loudly] by a rock band. The reception following worship had featured many delicious food items and had been extremely crowded. During the 1950s, I had attended Plymouth Congregational Church [that had dissolved in 1961] in that very same building. My parents who had been married in that building in 1951; later, I had been born and then had attended church school there for the next several years. It had been interesting to be back in that space after so many years. Christ Church Anglican has been in that building for many years but they are now looking for a new location. A section of that building has recently been determined to be unsafe for human habitation by the City of Columbus; there are signs prohibiting entry into that section of the building. One of the participants in last night's Christmas Eve candlelight service had his car broken into during that event. I guess that he had left his backpack visible in the passenger area of his car.

This is the most loving and friendly church that I have ever been to. God really shows up at the church during the services and it amazes me every time that Im there.
