Jennifer and her team worked hard for us. She's a great family law attorney. She worked on our emergency custody case. Jennifer not only got us custody but did it in a way so we didn't have to go to court.

Would give 0 if an option. The absolute worst experience. Late for court numerous times. Never had the work done on time to file causing a frustrated magistrate. Unprofessional. Overcharged for everything. Thousands of dollars billed for nothing but temp orders only to pay a new attorney to start over. Never consulted with me before running up my bill on sorting paperwork. Filed incorrect information that also caused issues in a very serious case. Court is so stressful. You need someone to count on and trust.

A friend suggested Jennifer Nielsen to me and I couldn't be more thankful. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to feel more confident about what was going on while I Was so very confused and lost and worried. There was always someone to answer my questions and keep me up to date. She was available after hours and she helped me just like she helped my friend. If you have any kind of divorce or family law issue, I highly recommend Nielsen Law. She knows what she's doing and she made me feel like she genuinely had my and my childrens best interest at heart.

Im autistic, live out of state now and have an ex-to-be who wishes me the only the worst, whose attorney is known for pulling less than honest shenanigans. Jennifer and her team at Nielsen Law moved swiftly to stop any underhanded shenanigans before they started and made sure I understood everything that was happening and helped keep my anxiety at bay. Being on the spectrum, Im a smart but very vulnerable person who has often been railroaded and taken advantage of in life. I also have a very low threshold for stress. So having a great lawyer and an accommodating legal team who took all this into consideration and made sure I knew what was going on, what was expected of me and made sure I knew I didnt need to stress it all made a huge difference. Theres not a lot of people in the professional world who take the time to treat people as individual human beings of value (especially lawyers, amirite?) This was a whole new and refreshing experience for me. It would have been a lot worse for me without their help. Ive had a couple other lawyers over the years and they were not good at communication, keeping me in the loop, answering my questions and concerns etc, I definitely, doubly appreciate that Jennifer and her team are very much the opposite of that. Not one question or worry went unaddressed. They were friendly, helpful, professional, accommodating and just genuinely kind and patient with me. (And didnt drain my bank account as I feared). The kindness shown to me at Nielsen Law will forever be deeply appreciated. I strongly recommend Jennifer Nielsen for all your family court type of needs.
