What a beautiful store! Haven't been back in Abilene long but this will be a top store for sure! I'm writing this review only to help out the young girls who work during the days. Y'all gotta open up and be a little more outgoing and welcoming!! Lol!! It was so awkward, quiet and a little unwelcoming when I stopped by. You can do it i promise!!! :))) Everyone is so beautiful here, a louder voice and happy face will go a long ways! Don't be afraid to open up! That is all! Hugs!! && have a great day!

When I entered the store with intentions to purchase items to decorate my new home with, I was not greeted. I was ignored multiple times and one of the staff came towards me and then turned around as soon as she saw me and asked another customer if they needed help with anything. I made eye contact with an older lady at the counter and she went back to wrapping items and didn't ask if I needed help. It saddens me because I go shopping at their clothing store in the mall all the time and the girls are super sweet there. Because of this experience at the Home and Gift shop I ended up leaving and going to Kirklands and ended up spending well over a thousand dollars that day. I really wanted to give this location my business as I am a real estate investor and hope to come here multiple times to purchase items for all our properties for staging purposes. I ended up giving two stars because the lady behind the counter finally, after I went up to her and asked for help, actually came out to help me for a little bit then disappeared when I turned for a little bit, after she couldn't help me find what I was looking for.

We live in Lubbock and shop the store there at least once a week. We have gotten to know all the girls that worked there in the pass, plus also got to know the owner while he was in the store. The last few times we have been in the store, especially this pass weekend 9-26, not one of the girls ever asked if they could help or anything else. It has gotten to the point, we probably will not be going back because of the atmosphere that the Lubbock store has now.
