Days Inn by Wyndham Austin/University/Downtown

Dirty. Noisy location. Broken stuff in the room (A/C, bathroom, ...). Floors haven't been cleaned since new. Garbage all over the parking lot.

There was a huge cockroach in the room, which means there were probably more we didn't see. The staff didn't apologize, just offered us a "better room". There was no possibility that we'd stay in a literal roach motel. We were delighted to find a modern, clean Doubletree down the street.

In the official photos it looks great, in reality not so much, really worn down BUT the rooms were really really nice and clean. The neighbourhood is scary

Our room stunk,there were roaches in the bathroom, drug deals outside in the parking lot, people arguing and yelling, my feet were black because of the floor being nasty,air didn't work properly. Don't stay here even as a last resort. You will regret it!

Literally damp, dank and wet inside our room. Mold in the bathroom. Felt like sleeping in a sweat moldy basement. Right next to the highway. Dark and unpleasant.
