Wow. How is Bernitta still employed by this hotel??? I have never witnessed such a deliberately rude and hostile person working in the hospitality industry. And not just rude to me... to EVERY person who approached her at the reception desk. Read through the hotels reviews and you'll quickly see a recurring theme... frequent 1-star reviews, almost ALL of them referencing Bernitta or "the lady at the front desk". Management, please don't feel the need to respond to my review... if you cared about your guest's experience or your hotel's reputation, you would have already taken care of this.

I had an excellent stay at Home2 in Beaumont Tx. The associates were friendly, courteous,helpful and very professional. I wasn't too happy with the parking lot to the side of the building, it tended to get darker the farther you drive back, ...not sure if a light was out or what! The lobby, hallway and elevator were all clean. My room was very nice and clean. It had one queen bed, sofa sleeper, a desk and chair, plasma T. V. Microwave, frig , coffee pot and dishes. The restroom was fully stocked with ample towels and toiletries. However, the maids need to start NOW with treating the tiny spots of mold that are starting to bloom in the shower. The Central heat/air worked perfectly (no musky smells). The only real problem that I had is when I attempted to call the front desk, I found that the phone didn't work.

Great rooms, super spacious and clean, stocked, and breakfast was provided. Breakfast was mostly eggs. All the facilities were great and towels and bedding were clean. All in all great experience!

RECEPTIONIST Bernitta WAS BEYOND RUDE!!!!!!! As a long time HH member, I have NEVER been treated in such a condescending and belittling manner. She scolded my daughter for walking behind the counter, which happens to be wide open, told me that Hilton doesn't "honor" service dogs for PTSD and I would charged, and then proceeded to gaslight me about the entire conversation. After a long day on the road, more driving tomorrow, the reception here was not what I needed. The carpets in the room are sticky.
