Desk representatives were excellent as well as other staff members. Breakfast was filling but lacked tastiness, danishes were stale, and only cut fruit and packaged yogurt were appealing. Elevator and ice machines didn't work properly. Rooms: Comfortable, quiet, and spacious room. Food & drinks: Food lacked quality and taste.

I thought about whether or not to write a review. I decided it is necessary, so no one else gets negativity affected. On March 29th, I approached a hotel front desk employee regarding an issue. She was an average height, overweight Hispanic female, with a very rotund face. I told her the door to enter the pool was unlocked and didn't require a key card to get in, yet coming out of the indoor pool, the door was locked. My mother took the kids upstairs to shower first, therefore, taking the room key. That shouldn't have been an issue, since I should have been able to walk out as easily as I walked in. However, I was trapped and had to wait for someone to walk down the hotel hallway, to let me out. I saw this as a safety issue, since someone's kid could easily walk into the indoor pool without a key card, but would get trapped and unable to leave the indoor pool without a card. First impression, the employee appeared very annoyed I interrupted her playing on her phone and reluctantly took out her ear pods, just staring at me. I told her about the pool door, thinking it was a mistake that they had the indoor pool door unlocked when entering, but locked when trying to exit, as this is a safety issue as well. Before I was able to finish, she scolded me stating, I should have my key card on me at all times. I explained how my mother took the card to get the kids upstairs...she again cut me off, rudely telling me, "Well if you had your key card on you at all times that wouldn't have been an issue." As I tried to speak to her again, she put an ear pod in her right ear only (probably to avoid the camera on her left side), then looked back down at her phone, ignoring me completely. I was just left standing there and ignored, so I walked out since my grandpa was waiting on me to go to his medical appointment. I was very bothered by how patronizing she was from the start. All she had to do was listen and be a kind, respectful employee, representing the hotel. I went back in, asked for her managers name, which she refused initially. I told her I wasn't leaving until she provided me with her managers contact info. She told me she already informed Morgan and she supported her, as she gave me her managers card. She continued to be extremely rude, so I requested to speak to her manager immediately. She denied and told me I could come back the following Monday (when I flew back home on Sunday), yet she apparently called her in the 2 minutes I walked away and claimed her manager agreed with her. She also called her by her first name, Morgan. I don't know how things are run at the hotel, but I would never address my leadership nor would my employess address me by my first name. So that already tells me it's an unprofessional relationship. The entire time she was insulting me, she did so in a very low tone (hindsight, was probably to hide from the hotel camera), and tells me to get out of her hotel or she's calling the cops. I kept telling her no that I was a paying customer. She then proceeded to start yelling at me to get out...no joke, pointing her finger at the door and continually telling me she would call the cops. I told her she was being extremely unprofessional and wasn't representing the hotel well. She got even louder and started yelling more to get out. As another hotel guest walks up she then starts lying, saying I needed to leave because I was cussing at her. I then laughed out of disbelief and said okay so you're not only being completely unprofessional, but lying now too. She continued yelling at me to get out and claimed she was in the process of calling the cops to remove me. I said you do that. My dad and brothers are all police officers that live here, so they can tell you I don't need to leave as well. I hope this employee goes through more training or gets relocated to a position that doesn't involve customer service, because she does not represent the hotel well. Another employee, Veronica, is a very positive and wonderful person. More businesses would thrive if they all had great employees like Veronica.
