Porter Loring Mortuary West

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the staff at Porter Loring Mortuary West. They were professional and made us feel welcome and cared for during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They were patient, caring, and kind. They cared for my dad's remains in such a way that gave us peace and they have a wonderful area to be a witness to the cremation process. The crematory is on-site, so we were not concerned with his remains being transported multiple times. Thank you so much to Emily and Tito and the rest of the staff!

My father recently passed, and my family was heartbroken and unsure of who could help us give my dad the sendoff he deserved. My mother came across Porter Loring one morning, just days after my fathers passing and could tell after one phone call that she was in good hands here. From start to finish, Emily and Tim provided my family with all the arranging, planning and accommodations we needed. They helped arrange a beautiful casket and display for my father, a retired veteran, and made all of us feel welcomed and at home. They took the initiative to come to us all throughout the service, providing comfort and words of encouragement for my entire family during the viewing and service. The limo drivers were exceptional and professional, and lovely people to talk to, treating us all as if we were long time friends of theirs. It was all the patience, comfort and well wishes me and my family needed during this tragic time in our lives. I cannot say enough good words about this place and what their welcoming hand meant to all of us. Thank you all so much.

Tim and all the staff were superb . They help me with me being comfortable in arranging my husband funeral, Tim was very understanding and always available when you need him and so was the other staff. I highly recommend Porter Loring funeral home.
