I think there's a new franchise owner. We met with David Latu, not Emily. I'm so glad we went! We've done TurboTax for the past seven years. We decided to work with a professional this year because we have a 1099 and Schedule C to complete. David was courteous, professional, and answered all of our questions. He spent extra time to help us understand how to save money going forward. Initially, it's significantly more expensive than TurboTax. However, we got a bigger tax return--much more than the difference in initial cost. Thank you, David!
