The small, nicely maintained park has river frontage on the Lamoille just below the Arrowhead Lake Dam. Mature trees offer shade between sunny spots. There are six picnic tables, and benches and a bike rack. It is level, and there is a sidewalk to help accessibility. There are some reasonable restrictions, such as no swimming, fires or overnight camping. Permanent signs help visitors appreciate the local river history. About 10 paved parking spots. A perfect spot for a brief picnic lunch, really. Dog-friendliness: It appears dogs are welcome because the sign says so, but there are no dog bags or poop receptacles. Its pack in, pack out. Picnic area: Level. No fires. Trash and recycling bins. Permanent picnic tables and benches.
