We recently stayed at this location. The staff was extremely accommodating to our group. The rooms and facilities were well maintained and clean. Breakfast was very delicious and fresh. Helen is one of the shining stars of our experience. She is knowledgeable, helpful and a total joy. Thank you for a wonderful traveling experience. Nearby activities: Walk to several restaurants or fast food, the cinema, hobby store and more.

We previously stayed at this hotel when we moved our daughter into school and had a good stay. We planned another visit and figured it would be good again. When we booked the website noted that the hotel was undergoing exterior renovations and the date of completion was prior to our stay. We should be good we figured. Upon arrival we found the hotel was still under exterior construction but figured it is the outside so no harm. That evening it rained both outside and inside the hotel. We were awakened at 2:30am by the fire alarm which went off due to the ceiling collapsing hear the elevators and water pouring in which set off the alarm. The fifth floor was filled with buckets and large garbage cans from end to end catching all of the water. As we returned to our room, we found our room was also impacted. Water was dripping from the ceiling at the desk in the room. Drip, drip, drip is all we heard the remainder of the evening. We tried to do the right thing and catch the water which only made the dripping sound worse so we just let the water drip on the carpet which was soaked by morning. When checking out we told the staff that we were one of the families that had water leaking into our room so it could be addressed prior to the next guests. The staff apologized, took our names and room number and told us we would be reimbursed for our evening without sleep. It has now been over two weeks and half a dozen phone calls and the same response from the hotel. Yes we have you down for a refund and someone will take care of that soon. At this point we would no longer recommend this hotel to anyone despite what others say about the staff. When you pay for a service you expect to get what you pay for. In this case we did not. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel to stay at.

We decided on staying here on a whim. We got in about 930 at night and we were checked in by Duane. He was funny, friendly, and welcoming. I enjoyed our Check in. The breakfast was good as well. I dont think you would be disappointed if you stayed here. Thank you Duane for starting our stay at the Hampton on a high note. From the New Yorker with pizzazz.
