We were 100% satisfied with ACS. Working with Chris was very easy, and it was clear from the beginning that although he was an exacting craftsman, he was still flexible and open to changes. He had many suggestions about layout that really improved upon the base design we started with. The cabinets turned out great, and we've received many compliments from our friends and family.

It can be difficult finding craftsmen who can work with an old home, but Chris did a great job building a brand new front door that looks like it has been there since my house was built. He listened carefully to my concerns and goals, inspected the intact bits that were to be replicated, and created exactly what we discussed. Top notch communication and response times, even when setbacks happened- he is the one contractor thus far who has kept me in the loop without issue. Looking forward to future projects! Chris did a wonderful job with the custom bookshelves. He listened to my ideas and we agreed on a plan and design before he started. He was extremely professional in both his correspondence and work. The bookshelves are perfect! From the specific trim I requested to the smooth finish, they reflect exactly what I wanted. The custom ladder was incredibly well done and really completes the piece.

Chris and his team did a brilliant job on a major project at my house, involving built-in bookshelves, cabinets, desk, and mantelpiece. I hired Chris after it became obvious that his desire for the utmost quality matched my own. He worked with me carefully throughout the design phase (including a site visit) to make sure every detail was right. Chris also took lots of time on two visits to his shop to explain options for wood, stain, etc to make sure I could select these the best way. The results were stunning. The choice of wood, the workmanship, and every other detail all show great care and a passion for excellence. These are not the first built-in furnishings I have ever purchased, but they are by far and away the best. If you are serious about wanting the very finest quality wood work to make your home beautiful, you cannot do better than call Chris.
