Star Valley Rest Area

It was dark so I never went inside but it looked good to a blind guy in the dark lol.

Place to grill tables to eat at very clean and well maintained rest stop. The men's room toilet door doesn't latch and there doesn't appear to be any hiking trails but there is a real long sidewalk. There is a real neat historical bill board to read that tells about the area

We stopped for a picnic lunch and the restroom near Thayne, at Star Valley Rest Area, alongside Strawberry Creek. We were delighted with this lovely rest stop; the restrooms were sparkling clean and properly stocked, the common grounds were swept and mowed, there were picnic shelters, and lots of parking. Others were stopped there as well, so it is a popular place. Quiet Strawberry Creek runs alongside the property, but its not set up as a hiking spot; no trails, etc. There were no signs prohibiting dogs or requiring a leash, but there were no dogs present when we were there. There is parking for oversize vehicles too, but none were there.

Super clean. It is a great place to take a break, have a snack, and wander a bit before getting back on the road. The information boards were very interesting.
