We used Allen Tree Service to remove a tree that fell on our house. We asked them to save the trunk of the tree in large sections as it was a ~150 year old white oak and we had a friend who wanted to mill it. They performed the work itself quickly, but ground up the tree without asking us. Afterwards, they were unapologetic and confrontational about the incident. This was a shame, as the quality of their work seemed to be good. We have used other local tree services since then.

I have several trees cut down by this company over 20 years or so.Still got about three or four more to go .The-most dramatic was the one that fell across my house. They do top-notch work and are insured and bonded. I highly recommend them.

Our need for tree service came about when a hickory tree blew down across our driveway and onto our house after tropical storm Alberto came through. I called numerous tree service businesses and wound up with 4 estimates. Mr. Allen came out to my property within 24 hours of my phone call, and he quickly gave me a competitive estimate for the work. His crew was able to begin work on the tree removal within the hour. In spite of the difficulty of the situation (the tree was on top of the roof with branches pressed against our large plate glass window), his talented crew worked through stormy conditions and had the tree completely removed, hauled away, with the whole area cleaned up in a few short hours. Before and after photos below... Overall – a very professional crew that worked quickly and safely at a reasonable price. If I need tree services again I will definitely consider Allen tree service! Top 5% of all tree services!

Excellent communication from multiple parties of the business: job foreman, central office, & the owner. We had 4 trees removed along with the 4 stumps and there was a small hiccup regarding one of the stump grinders. They explained the problem, communicated the problem, and fixed the problem all within a respectable timeline. If I cut down anymore trees, I'll definitely use them again.
