Comfort Inn Downtown - Ship Creek

My first experience here was 2 weeks ago. Even though I had missed breakfast the following morning, I got to use the swimming pool, I was welcomed every time I entered the lobby, and got a good nights sleep. I thought it lived up to the name “Comfort Inn”. This time around I chose to spend a prepaid 3 days with my family for Christmas weekend. BOY.. was I fooled!! One word.. HORRIBLE!! The front entry door to lobby was not working (pull to open, push to shut), the pool is small and was ALWAYS full, tv channels SUCKED, breakfast was tiny (literally a meat and a scrambled egg) that was half-fought over when brought out, our toilet seat in our room (203) was ROUGH and peeling, the bench chair was unsafe to sit on (like a boat at sea), and more..! I prepaid 3 days, and left on the third day, right after check-in (4pm), because I couldn’t take any more humid (non-ventilated/circulated) air in the room! Besides, it’s obviously unsafe, as they have security monitoring the property for a reason! There is NO way I will use a “Choice” hotel after this!

Very nice and clean rooms. Very nice customer service. Free Bearkfast. Good coffee. It's safe for family's or anyone. Check it out

Far more accommodating hotels in Anchorage. Would not recommend.
