Yummy food, we've been meaning to come here for years. Finally was able to make it here. Connie was great! We enjoyed our food and service. We frequented this restaurant about once every two weeks. In the past the service and food were generally quite good.Today we sat down, an unkempt young man asked if we wanted something to drink.  We asked for coffee and hot tea. He said he didn't know where the tea was but after a few minutes he brought me hot tea. Another 10+ minutes went by and the waitress (?) / cook came by the table to take our order. We said we didn't get a menu.  She grabbed two pieces of paper that had seen better days. I looked at the menu. Eggs and toast $13 - what?  I realize that prices have gone up but that's ridiculous. One order of hash browns - $6.50, they were just barely warm when they arrived. No jam on the table, we had to get that from another table. One tiny package of almost melted butter to put on two slices of toast. No offer for a coffee refill. Needless to say, we won't be back.
