Being a real estate novice myself (which really is an understatement if we’re being honest), I had no earthly idea what I was getting myself into. Jason went out of his way to explain the inner workings of first time home ownership and the art of negotiation. Imagine trying to teach a monkey algebra and you might have a better understanding of the Sysaphisian task he had undertaken. After our initial consultation, I was a new man and felt as if I had been bombarded with some kind of magical real estate radiation and that my ability to better understand the ins and outs of home ownership had become somewhat superhuman. Jason continued to advise me through the process and I am now the proud owner of my first home, which might be more of an achievement if I wasn’t 50. But, as the saying goes... ‘You can’t teach an old dog new tricks... unless you’re J-Roc.’ Thank you, Jason.

Jason is your man! When I was looking for a realtor one of the reviews said “stop looking, stop reading reviews...just call Jason.” And it was so true. We had a VERY complex real estate deal and Jason came through all the way! We’re about to move into our dream home! Not only did he deliver us a great deal though, he has the absolute best attitude. Very easy to see why he is so well connected and respected in the market. The listing agent even praised Jason for how well he handled our deal! Jason really helped us to find a special place and we will be forever grateful. We will always trust Jason and Rock Realty for all our real estate needs!

Where oh where to start...considering our home search prior to Jason (Rock Realty) took many months and 10+ offers (none accepted), I probably shouldn't bore you with that part of the story. Main thing I'll say on it is we were previously working with Redfin, and while our agent was hardworking and sweet as pie, she just lacked the market/industry savvy to truly advise us and help us close the deal. While I believe in what the Redfin model is trying to do - they have a lot to iron out on the execution front. Now, onto Rock. How did come upon Jason? My fiance and I met him when he was the listing agent of an open house we attended. His friendly, easy going (non pressure-y) personality really appealed to us and made a strong impression. A few weeks later, frustrated with Redfin and looking for a new agent not knowing where to start - we decided to go with someone we thought we could work with and feel comfortable with, so we got in touch with Jason...best decision we could've made. Simple, yet important advice - work with someone you WANT to work with. Ok, ok, I'm writing a lot and going on too many tangentd (though let that be a testament to how satisfied we are). So the highlights: - We'd put in 10+ offers, we landed our DREAM home on the first offer we put in with Jason - Jason coached us every step of the way and helped us win a very competitive selection (7 offers, 2 all cash offers) - We had a schlub of a mortgage broker. Jason guided me above and beyond and ensured things stayed on track - Jason was there every step of the way, available and ready for any fire drill or wrench thrown our way. He also had great foresight in helping us pre-empt would be issues. - He's got a great sense of humor and helped us keep perspective through what could be a very stressful process at times To fast forward to the happy ending (that you might' guessed) we closed escrow on time and moved into our new home- that we absolutely love. We've also got a 'pocket ace' when our friends now ask for a realtor referral. Thanks again Jason.
