Garden of Ideas is such a magical place. Every season brings something different there. I feel safe letting kids run free and I love that there is seating all around the garden. It's really a hidden gem of Ridgefield. If you have time, take the back trail to the teepees and try to find the eye in the tree...

I don't think you can find many places as beautiful as this. Perhaps you grew up loving the book The Secret Garden. Maybe you just love secluded, contemplative places offering flowers, sculpture, and an atmosphere of seclusion. I went with my camera, and didn't see a single person while I was there. You can sign a guestbook and you can support The Garden by leaving an amount of cash. I couldn't find anyone to ask, so I just left $20.00. I wish I could have left more. I think that at certain times they sell vegetables and offer eggs for sale. I was blown away by the peacefulness of my experience. I loved discovering what was around the corner every time I followed the little path. I want to go again soon! I had an extraordinary experience at this unique place!
