Budget Car Rental

Shuttle from airport to building was quick, however we waiting 45 minutes outside and another 35 minutes inside before being given a filthy vehicle. When I asked for someone to wipe down the car, I was told they couldn't do that and if I wanted to exchange it I would have to wait in the entire line all over. Never again will we use Budget.

It was really busy. There was one person working and a long line. I got a smaller car and it caused all kinds of issues.

We were in MAUI HAWAII OGG AIRPORT and this woman helped us very quickly gave us all cost options in an efficient way and the return process was ever easier. Highly recommend this establishment

I normally would not leave a bad review for businesses, but this experience was do poor that I felt I must this time so others will not have the same experience. We arrived in Maui on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m. pretty excited that we'd still have a half day of fun on our first day. That changed when we were shuttled over to Budget. They must have a ridiculous system for renting cars....there was a HUGE mass of people outside waiting time get their car. You had to go over and put your name in with an employee at the door and wait for them to YELL your name to go onside and get in line. Once inside, they lines moved slowly. too. It took us 1 3/4 hours to get our car! When we got it, it was dirty inside. We ordered a convertible and asked the employee to show us how to work the convertible top....and he asked if we needed to do that. Why else would we order a convertible?? The little windows in the back seat didn't ever properly roll up completely, but we weren't about to stick around any longer! Maybe this was the same situation at other rental agencies? NO! My daughter rented from National and had her Jeep in less than 10 minutes. Then to top it all off, my husband tried calling Budget the day we were returning the car to confirm the shuttle to the airport and they never answered their phones when we called 3 times. What would have happened if we'd had s problems? Do yourself a favor and don't give yourself the stress or headache!
