Holiday Inn Express & Suites WILLMAR

Never greeted us as Platinum member, no welcome gift or offered upgrade. Never informed us pool was 24 hours, breakfast was not consistent and very bare. Breakfast was poorly refilled and unfortunately didn't get to eat all 3 mornings. Room had bad odor and couldn't change rooms. Absolutely disappointed in stay and staff didn't seem to care of concerns.

We were at my family's wedding recently, most of my family was staying at the Holiday Inn in Willmar but we couldn't get a room so we stayed in another hotel. My son and I came to see his cousins, who were swimming in the pool at the time. My son is only 3 and did not understand why he couldn't swim but the older lady, greyish blonde hair (around 1'oclock. I wish I got her name) behind the desk heard my son getting upset and crying, so she took him over to the table that has candy and chips, told him to pick something just for him and she would pay for it. She made him very happy. That was very nice of her! I wish I got her name, I want to send her a card from my son, I know she would like it. Please tell her Thank You again from Holly.

I always feel like I am home when I stay here. Friendly greeting, coffee available in the morning (I leave long before 6).
