I met with Mr. Thomas Mayernik to discuss my case which had been dragging on with another firm for an inordinate amount of time. While discussing the details of my case with him, he did a quick research of the evidence, facts & the docket. He candidly explained that my case was terribly mishandled, saying that had a strong case & he was ready to take over! He further added that my previous attorney ran his office like a dog shelter. I felt as though he actually understood what I had been going through, that he cared, and that he had faith in my case . After signing HIS contract, I was given a list of to dos for him asap. I got back to him sooner than he expected. He has all of my information but he NEVER contacted as he said he would. He wasted 2 weeks of my time ( mind you time is of the essence ) He told me to be a detective for him and get a list of witness names and addresses and, to send out a letter to my previous attorney for return of my file and to close my case with them (so Mr. Mayernik could take over). Today, after completing everything he asked of me, I called him; and before I could even finish my first sentence Mr. Mayernik rudely cut me off to say he was no longer interested in pursuing my case and good luck finding an attorney who will! (take my case) . Worst experience ever. Makes no sense. This guy is a time-waster. And this is the last of my time being wasted on him . Would never recommend .
