        1500 miles from home, and where I left my polarizing filter... I emailed ahead with my request, got a prompt, helpful reply. In the store (bigger than I've seen in a long time) I got friendly help with selecting the right filter, and buying a good monopod. Great thanks for helping this wayfaring stranger!

        I don't trust my photos of value to anyone besides Harold's. The other stores in town with in-store photo booths don't compare. If you want great quality picture, only trust Harold's.

        It had been years since I last held a quality camera. Harold's reintroduced me to all I'd forgotten. I made my purchase after a very patient rep brought me up to speed on the latest technology. I went back a bit later for some questions that were then answered on the spot. I appreciated the service and I've been delighted with the equipment now for nearly 2 years. I'm now back for more lenses and probably some more accessories.

      Harold's Photo

      Sioux Falls has been our home for over 100 years. In 1910 Emil Hanson and his wife Agnes moved to Sioux Falls and purchased a portrait studio. In 1938 their two sons, Harold and Howard, opened a second location and added camera sales and photofinishing. As amateur photography grew, so did Harold's Photography with additional retail locations and a wholesale photofinishing lab. Today, the fourth generation of the Hanson family continues to transform the business into a complete photographic supply store and a modern photofinishing factory with a major online presence. Over the last century, the only constant has been our desire to provide the region the best quality images, equipment and advice. Thank you for letting us help preserve your memories!
