Avenue M at 1720 Crestdale Apartments

Hello I'm a new residence to Avenue M.. and I look forward to a long residence with this property. The managers and staff personal are Mrs. Tiffany and Jay... They are fabulous... I was impressed that they even considered me... I was working with some issues that could have disqualified me as a renter. But, they work with me once other qualifications were met. So, if you are someone you know, are looking for a great place to consider. Tell about Avenue M they will do what they can to get you approved.

When I was apartment hunting in Houston this place was one of the places I applied to. The property manager Kassandra treated me like a criminal during the application process. I felt so uncomfortable sending her copies of my SS card and other very personal info over email. I was in a different state but I shouldnt have had to do that. After paying the app fees, time was going by, I applied to other places cause I needed to be moved in by a certain time . I ended up moving into to a place in a much more central location that approved me instantly. I never got any of the app fees back and didnt hear back in a timely manner . To this day Im still traumatized by the whole application process and scrutiny I had to deal with.

After living for a couple of months I can give a detailed review. Pros: clean and new apartments, nice and helpful leasing office, plenty of parking space. Cons: walls are thin we hear our neighbor when they are on call in the next apartment all the time and if they are shouting we can understand what they are saying, Also the other neighbors put on country music at 5:40 in the morning although we complained to the leasing office 4 times they sometimes still do it and wakes us up, And we hear the neighbors on top of us walking back and forth quite a lot as well, This means that the neighbors hear us too especially if we are a bit loud. I might be unlucky, but today I saw some neighbor pouring water in front of my apartment door, not exactly sure why but my guess is their dog peed over there. Edit: they are fast to reply at the reviews but they don't respond to the email they mention to contact...

The leasing office team is great a easy to work with. They try to work with you as much as possible.

First and foremost such great service from the office team. I was just coming in to get rental information for a family member but the young lady with the black hair I dont remember her name sorry, but she is amazing at her job. Apts are brand spanking new beautiful layouts with washer and dryer connections as well. They are running a special of two months free. That is perfect for my relative that I want out of my house, theyll be seeing me relatively soon.
