This is not a real shop. Its a mail order venue. They are not helpful to the locals in any way.

I tried calling to see why my order was taking so long to ship. I called multiple times during normal business hours and never got an answer. Considering canceling my order if they continue to not answer the phones. Edit: Revising my review to 4 stars because I was able to contact them via phone finally. Processing time was a little longer than I hoped for so Im going 4 stars instead of 5

This review is meant to be informational and is not representative of my interactions with the business. Visits are appointment only. If are you getting into trains or have no idea what you are looking for, this business is not the place to look for as you cannot view things in-store. Unfortunately, I did not find this out until driving 30 minutes to the location. This isn't entirely the fault of the business as Google doesn't provide this information up front and you have to view the "See All "or "More Information" to discover this. I'm sure the business is great, but it seems like it's just a brick and mortar version of a website that sells train products since you can only do curbside or view merchandise online. A bit of an oddity given they have a website, but given the complicated mechanics to searching if you are unfamiliar with train products, an in-person visit is almost necessary. It's just unfortunate that it appears I'm not the only person that has had the displeasure of driving here and finding this out. I presume the traffic that is generated by in-store visits is pretty minor but as an out-of-state person visiting Vermont, unfortunately I cannot shop at this location and provide an accurate assessment of the business. Best of luck to those that are able to visit!

My family drove about half-an-hour from our town to come to this store. We showed up, and we found that the door was locked, despite the fact that on Google it said that the store hours were 9-5. We knocked, and a lady answered the door and asked if we were there to pick up an order, however we had not, and had planned to shop in person. She then explained that the store was only operated online, and the storefront was only there for curbside pickup. We did not know this beforehand, as this information is not stated on the owners website, and while it says on google that one service option is curbside pickup, it fails to mention that you cannot shop in person. The owner was also very abrupt when we were talking to her. Not exactly what I would call good business...
