Bye Bye Stress Massage

Updated: I've subtracted a star because, during my last visit after almost a year, there was an argument between 2 employees for an extended amount of time. I'm not sure what they were arguing about as they were arguing in Chinese, and it ruined my relaxation experience completely. Sadly, no one from the staff addressed them, and my masseuse continued her work despite my inquiring. Secondly, my masseuse did not hit any of the areas that I pointed out prior on my check in sheet. She must have been tired as she pretty much just worked my back with her elbows and forearms to the point where I thought that she had fallen asleep herself. The usual receptionist, who I came to know at this establishment, was there. I have found it hard to get the same masseuse even after I get the person's name because, again, I think they rotate the staff pretty sporadically but have found success when I request by preferences. Sadly, not this visit. The available parking is scarce as the business shares the lot roughly 5 parking spaces with a restaurant and 3 other businesses. You will likely have to find street parking in the neighborhood just behind the business. Or, you can look just up the street at the next businees section with parking. The venue is clean and welcoming, and the staff speak strong English for the most part and understand as well.

I started coming here two years ago, and at first, the massages were really good. But the last few times I have been, the massages have been awful. Painful. Two days later, my neck still hurts from where the masseuse pressed so hard on the muscle. It feels bruised. Also, the masseuse did not seem to know what she was doing. I had no sense that she understood the musculature and was properly working anything - more like just deeply (and painfully) kneading a few areas. I will not be going back.
