Candlewood Suites Alabaster, an IHG Hotel

I booked a block of rooms for a basketball team. Janda and Stephanie were very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. When we arrived, everyone at the front desk was very friendly. The customer service was great was from the booking process to checkout. The hotel is located close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

The front desk girl Staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean with the exception of the back of the bed, that could use some cleaning. The only issue I have was the person next to us they had their tv blasting all flipping night. Front desk did tried to knock on their door and call the room and they never answer. Other than that I will stay here again. I had fix the Review due to the Hotel charging us $10 apparently in case, something was broken after Checking out. Its been 5 days and my $19 hasnt been refund. Our friend also stayed with us at the same hotel and he end up getting charge twice for the room. CHECK YOUR BANK and make sure you get your REFUND and you didnt get charge DOBLE.

Pretty decent hotel. Stayed two separate times within a week. First time through check-in was quick and painless. Second time the woman at the front drilled me with questions and was sort of demanding, and it took them forever to just give me the dang keys and let me go to my room. Room itself was pretty nice. Dust levels were pretty high, and floor wasnt super clean. Bed was nice, and the bathroom and shower was nice. Lots of piping hot water. I tried calling the front desk many times the first night but they refused to answer, or they would just pick up the phone then hang up. Weird! This is an animal-friendly hotel, so it will never rate very highly. Animals should stay outside or in the barn, not in a hotel room. And a barking dog can keep an entire floor awake. Very very bad policy.

Friendly staff, but the place badly needs an update. Old musty carpets, vague old hotel aromas. Lobby areas needed some vacuuming. Expected a higher standard from IHG.

Very welcoming desk clerks. The pantry downstairs offers good snacks at (for an off-site store) decent prices ($2 for a single- serving bottle of milk). Very comfortable room & bed. I appreciated vent in bathroom (word how a lot of hotels don't have that! ) Odd to get to-- keep your eyes peeled because Google Maps gets confused at the very end.
