They came out and said that I needed a new hot water heater and they said that the one I had was not in code and it was gonna be like $2000 in remodeling fees and that didn’t include the price of the new hot water heater so I called my local gas company they came out installed one for me and told me everything‘s in code and they didn’t have to do any remodeling and we’re about a quarter of the price that K &S plumbing quoted me so my conclusion to this is they are trying to rip people off!

Awful experience. Tried to charge me $1100 to replace a water heater that should have been covered under my home warranty. Sent me an invoice for line modifications, expansion tank ,gas valve and several other items that were recently replaced and nothing wrong with them. They were supposed to have ordered a part ,almost 2 weeks later said the part somehow never got ordered. I called the manufacturer and said they couldn't get the gas valve so they gave me a code to replace the water heater for free. Me and one of my friends took the old unit out and installed a new 1 in about an hour. Between American home shield warranty and this plumbing company I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks.
