I was having a hard time getting my question answered about my daughter rooming with her friends in the same apartment. After emailing, chatting and calling for weeks (10-20 times a day- if you think I am kidding try to call) I get an answer from a member of the Oliv Team and ask to speak with a manager. A person named Riley came to the line and said that they can't help me until I put in an application, but that the manager was working to get all groups together. I told her before i put in the application fee of $275, I would like to talk to the manager because i was getting conflicting messages from the team on the ability to group the girls. Again she stated that the manager couldn't speak to me until I had an application in and that the groups were being accommodated. She said the manager would call me after the application was done. Never was I told that they had no more rooms available. I spend the next hour (while at work) getting the application in (their site is best used from a desktop, it dropped all my information twice when doing it by phone) and I paid the $275. The next day I get a call from the manager and I explained that I got the application in for my daughter so she could room with her two friends in a 3/3. She didn't ask for any name, but said she has no availability for any females in any rooms. I ask her to refund my money (since they took it so easily knowing they has no rooms) and she said they have a no refund policy. I said so I had to pay $275 to get you on the phone for 5 minutes to tell me that you are sold out - that is the most unprofessional way to run a business that I have ever encountered. I am in process of reaching out to the headquarters in Austin with hopes that this is NOT a way they do business, but be warned that they practice very shady behavior.

Payton was AMAZING!!! She made our housing scenario go from horrible to wonderful! She was knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely patient. I was fortunate to speak with her and have her help me with this process. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!!!

oLiv is a great option for housing for Auburn students, since it's really close to campus, especially those whose classes are in the engineering section. The rooms are and common areas are very nice and well appointed. It has a nice rooftop pool/deck, sauna, weight room, and good covered attached parking. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is that the weight room and sauna were closed for extended renovation last year after a small fire in the sauna; that has been addressed and I expect great things this year. Our son lived there last year, and we just renewed his lease for 24-25. Our daughter is starting as a freshman this year, and we just signed a lease for her as well since dorm housing was full. They had some changes in the manager last year and that has definitely improved service. We dealt with Riley Calhoun at the front desk this year to get our daughter's room selection and lease done, and she was terrific - super knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive.
