      image Top of the hill caused a slight parking issue. The hotel needs renovating and the breakfast is pretty lackluster. The side door had a large carpet piece causing people to trip and the door was dirty and all banged up. It appears there is some low budget construction going on. It needs a real makeover. The staff was friendly, and the bed was super comfortable with giant king sized pillows. There was a new automatic pancake machine that had the kids excited but that is where the breakfast fireworks end.

      JoshuaThank you for your feedback. The Irondale Holiday Inn Express just completed a $2 million renovation with all rooms receiving new furniture, 52 inch tvs and all public areas being renovated as well. Come back and visit now that we have completed the project

      image Jan 2024 looks like some remodeling happening here - no issues associated with that. Joining rooms are noisy from the neighbors, avoid if possible. Rooms facing the back are facing the woods, very quiet and no parking lot lights shining into your room.
